Hello world!

Helllloooooo!!!

Hope this first post finds you well and having a great day!

Welcome to “Confessions of a Car Sales Consultant”

Within the comments of this blog you will find helpful tips, ideas and answers to your questions about buying a new or previously enjoyed car.

My name is Dennise Ryder, I am a Sales Consultant with Toronto Chrysler (yup up in Canada). With over 660 models of cars out there, I don’t envy anyone who is shopping for a new vehicle. It can be a daunting task just trying to select the vehicle, let alone, thinking about the financing vs. leasing and the rest of it. The biggest “fear” anyone has when it comes to buying a car is the fear of “being ripped-off!!!” I can totally understand where you are coming from. With the information you gain here, it is my hope that your next car purchase will actually be a lot of fun, or at the very least much more easier than it has been in the past.

Let me hear from you!

This blog will only be as informative as you and I make it. If you’re reading this and have questions, fire them at me. If I don’t happen to know the answer, I will certainly find the answer and post it here. I will explain how things work from “my side of the desk” as well.

Who the heck am I … really??

Good question … Well, let me see, in a nutshell, I hail from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I spent 14 years in the Canadian Air Force (got to the rank of Segeant) and  got a degree in Marketing Management. I am not new to sales, I have been in advertising sales for quite some time. I knew “jack” about cars except where to put the gas, oh and one car taught me how to fill up the steering fluid every 2 days. There was something that drew me to car sales, I took the plunge and decided to give it a shot. I have to say that it has been an eye-opening experience (yes of the good kind). I have learned a lot and the old saying “I wish I knew then … what I know now” certainly comes into play.

All Car Sales Consultants are out to get you

Uhhh, in a word NO. We aren’t out to get you, at least I am not out to get anyone. I want your next car purchase to be a great experience … that’s what I’m shooting for.

So, hang for a while, share your thoughts, ideas and experiences. If you’re in the Toronto area, stop by and see me and I’ll  buy the coffee, or send me an email, I’ll reply … promise!!

I am looking forward to hearing from you, until then take care!!
